Omega Announces Annual Meeting Date

HUNT VALLEY, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. (NYSE:OHI) today announced that its Board of Directors set the date of the Company’s 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders for Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the Company’s corporate office located at 200 International Circle, Suite 3500, Hunt Valley, Maryland 21030. Stockholders of record as of the close of business on April 17, 2013 will be entitled to receive notice of and to participate at the 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

The Company is a real estate investment trust investing in and providing financing to the long-term care industry. At December 31, 2012, the Company owned or held mortgages on 476 skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and other specialty hospitals with approximately 55,279 licensed beds (53,104 available beds) located in 33 states and operated by 46 third-party healthcare operating companies.
